Private parking space excess to staff requirements at a Church near the Bus Station, in the centre of Carlisle. It is very central and 2 mins from the main shopping areas and useful for local businesses and offices. Street parking is available after 6pm and before 8am, and so this space provides an allocated space during the working day. It is not generally available on weekends, although arrangements may be posssible to include Saturdays.

Parking space at the back of 'The Hub' on Spencer, rather than one in St Pauls Square which was unavailable at the time. 20 mins walk from train station with bags and marginally cheaper than official station car park for a 3 day stay.
Space situated in a dark unlit area behind row of offices, so wouldn't recommend for a single female returning there in the dark. Also lots of pigeon muck all over the car, which isn't a great welcome to see on your return.

The space was great - hope I was in the right place - and near the station. I may well book it again. But my alarm went off when I got back to the car. I don't know why. Perhaps someone had tried to interfere with the car. No harm done.

Took longer than I thought to find the location after telephoning as requested - 10 minutes after getting there, so just as well we left plenty of time before catching the train!
