Five stars for the opportunity but....Arrived later than expected, after midnight, and checked with front desk for access details. Confirmed we were booked in and told where and how to access the car park. Drove in OK but then couldn't find the way out of the car park. The vehicle access shutter was closed, the access to the hotel was locked, an access near the shutter was locked. Roamed around under ground for 20 minutes trying to find a way out, now 1.20am. As underground, no mobile phone signal! Looked as though I and my daughter were going to spend an uncomfortable night! Found an intercom to the concierge in the apartments above but a notice said it wasn't working but please ring xxxxxx. Tried three times to phone before we managed to get a poor signal but fortunately concierge, after some discussion, gave us access to get out. Checked with the same front desk man who said he would give us a fob to open the door from car park to hotel. When we finally left the Car Park we checked with front desk at the hotel who said we should have been given the fob in the first place. They apologised and said that the door from the car park to the hotel was sometimes open and sometimes locked.
Suggest Just Park put something on their instructions to advise customers to obtain fob prior to parking. Suggest Crowne Plaza train their front desk staff to ensure customers get means of leaving a locked underground car park. Could have been very distressing had we not managed to eventually get a phone signal and the co-operation of the next property's concierge.
