Think churches were left behind by the digital revolution? Think again! Peer-to-peer parking involves more than just private driveways and commercial enterprises. An empty car park is the holy grail, and entrepreneurial churches up and down the country are jumping on the opportunity to turn their empty spaces into a source of income by renting them out online.
A team of Twickenham residents are turning their unused driveways and car parks into scrum-free parking spots for rugby fans during this year’s Six Nations competition. We met up with a few industrious members of our JustPark community living within cheering distance of the stadium to get the local lowdown on the rugby rush…
You know. Just in case you weren’t sure.
So, what makes JustPark tick? We could string together some (high quality, of course) marketing gumpf – but that seems a bit pointless when our members do it so much better than we ever could, and with a sense of humour that makes ours sound like the Grim Reaper after being told he needs a filling. Having recently put out another call for feedback, here are 19 salient points we’ve harvested with joy and are tacking firmly to the JustPark curriculum vitae.
So you lay claim to an underused parking space, but you aren’t sure if you can rent it out with JustPark for a bit of extra cash? It’s okay, we know that nobody really wants to squint at Terms and Conditions until their eyeballs shrivel up like sultanas. This blink-of-an-eyelid pop quiz will bring you up to speed quicker than you can say “fruit salad”.
