Commercial car parks
If you are running a commercial car park, you can increase the occupancy rate of your facility by listing your spaces on JustPark. We will collect the payment on your behalf and pass on a list of all the vehicles due to arrive by fax or email.
If you are one of the thousands of people whose daily commute involves driving to a station before hopping on a train or bus to get to work, you'll know the difficulty and frustration of finding somewhere to leave your car.
A station car park that is crammed by eight o'clock in the morning, the wrong change in your pocket for the ticket or a long trek to and from the station because you've had to park miles away are just some of the problems which face commuters. Not much fun if you're running late first thing in the morning or if you've had a long and stressful day at work. And if you're a woman, remote car parks are the last place you want to be when it's dark.
Resident permit holder schemes are being introduced all over the country for the very purpose of protecting homeowners and local businesses from all-day commuter car parking. And given that residents pay a couple of hundred pounds a year for a permit and still struggle to find parking within a couple of blocks of their homes, a service that protects residents' parking rights outside their own front door seems fair.
But that doesn't solve the problem for commuters.
If you know that you need to leave your car in a particular location everyday, why don't you make a convenient and cost-effective arrangement with a local resident through JustPark? At the very least, a pre-booked, penalty-free parking space might mean a few extra minutes in bed each morning!
Cyclists and motorcyclists
With bicycles, motorcycles, scooters and mopeds prone to theft, and security a key consideration for owners, the advantage of parking in someone else's garage or underground parking space is that the space is sheltered and facilities like lighting and CCTV are often available.
JustPark aims to supplement the blue badge scheme in order to make public places more accessible to disabled people. With any luck, the service will help you park that much closer to your destination and save you having to compete for already limited disabled bays with non-disabled drivers who park in them.
And a residential driveway with a dropped curb is a safer and more accessible environment than an on-street bay when it comes to manoeuvring wheelchairs in and out of a mobility vehicle.
If you're looking to reward employees or offer them a perk, why not rent parking spaces through JustPark and give staff free or subsidised parking?
When you're already stressed, the last thing you need is the frustration of not being able to find a parking space – especially when you're running late.
So if you can, make parking one less thing to worry about by arranging to use someone else's driveway.
And if you're going out at night, use JustPark to find a safe spot close to your destination and avoid having to walk a long way to and from your car.
With an increasing number of women taking to their cars ($the overall growth in car travel in Britain over the last decade is entirely accounted for by additional women driving), JustPark hopes to give the ladies a helping hand.
Hospital staff, patients and visitors
As a member of staff or regular patient at a hospital, you'll know the difficulties of parking in and around hospitals. Not only is it costly ($hospital-goers in the UK are paying more than £12 million a year to leave their cars in hospital car parks), it's also limited, especially with resident permit holder bays springing up in the areas around hospitals.
Although the majority of hospitals are well-serviced by public and hospital transport, patients' impaired mobility and the unrivalled reliability and comfort of a car means that doctors and nurses, and sick and disabled people will continue to get to hospital by private motorised transport and subsequently need somewhere to park.
If you're a female doctor or nurse working night shifts, book a driveway close to the hospital and save yourself having to park in a dark car park or walk long distances alone.
If your hotel does not have parking facilities or if you have only a limited number of spaces to offer, guests can arrange to leave their vehicle in a local resident's driveway on a one-off or short-term basis via JustPark.
Alternatively, you can save guests the trouble of finding parking themselves and offer them complimentary parking by booking spaces through JustPark on their behalf - a neat gesture of hospitality.
Parents of school children
Attention mums and dads on the school run! By arranging to leave your car for a few minutes each day in a nearby driveway you'll avoid having to chance it with the wardens or drop off and pick up your child in the middle of the road outside the school gates.
Whistle-blowing ticket wardens recently admitted to lingering before pouncing on cars left for three minutes at school pick-up time!
Diners and restaurant staff can arrange to leave their vehicle in a local resident's driveway on a one-off or regular basis.
Restaurants can save guests the trouble of finding parking themselves and offer them complimentary parking by booking spaces through JustPark on their behalf - a neat gesture of hospitality.
If you've ever driven to a big game, you'll know that parking around stadiums can be a nightmare. Most match-goers have at one point or another missed the start of a game because they can't find somewhere to park or left a game before it has ended in order to avoid the rush and sometimes hour-long wait to get out of the stadium grounds.
By arranging to leave your car in a local resident's driveway on a one-off or regular basis, you'll save yourself the palaver that otherwise comes with parking.
And you'll be doing other fans a favour too since you'll help ease the flow of traffic going into and coming out of, the stadium.
If you're living in rented accommodation and have checked with your landlord or with the terms and conditions of your contract that you are legally allowed to rent out your driveway, why not use the extra cash to help pay off your student loan?
Alternatively, use JustPark to find reliable and affordable parking near your lecture theatre or the gym. At the very least, a pre-booked parking space might mean a few extra minutes in bed each morning!
